Network Engineer - Cisco (Carrollton, GA)

The HT Group is working with an established manufactuing client to hire a Sr.
Network Engineer.
This individual will work from our manufactuing plant in Carrollton, GA or Greenville, SC.
We have two sites and are accepting candidates from either of those locations.
This position reports to the IT Technical Support supervisor and is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described below.
Responsibilities include supporting two datacenters and enterprise network solutions; troubleshooting, installing, implementing and administering network systems and providing Tier III support.
This role equires advanced knowledge/experience (6
years) in:
CISCO Meraki Vmware 0365/Azure Windows Server Admin Specific Job Duties:
Support on-site and remote datacenter:
Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 production configuration & deployment in conventional, Citrix & VMWare environments.
PDU & Battery Backup configuration & installation.
Installation of network appliances, network cabling & patch panels.
Monitoring & 1st tier troubleshooting of all network appliances.
System Administration:
Server maintenance, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, VMs via Citrix & VMware Infrastructure, Network Share & Storage Management, SQL Server 2012, user access, Windows Print servers, VPN, Cisco Unified Call Manager, Trend Micro Business Security network anti-virus and EDI transaction administration.
Working familiarity with Juniper and/or Cisco with hands-on experience configuring routers, switches and firewalls.
Provide support for network connectivity or related network issues for the user community.
Network Installation:
Plans and monitors the installation of network systems.
Network Monitoring:
Analyzes network activity and network problems to discover and prevent systematic errors.
Recommends network design changes/enhancements for improved systems availability and performance.
Issue Resolution:
Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves network problems.
Researches, analyzes and recommends the implementation of software or hardware changes to rectify any network deficiencies or to enhance network performance.
Capacity Planning:
Analyzes facilities bandwidth requirements and system interdependencies.
Develops capacity planning models.
Ensures planned testing activities are performed and technical criteria are met for DR.
Assesses network performance to ensure that it meets the present and future needs of the business.
Provides network planning recommendations to management.
Knowledge of Enterprise system monitoring and management tool.
Knowledge of commercial enterprise-level tools and products to provide network services, including:
firewalls, IPS/IDS, DNS, DHCP, web security, TACACS+, VPN and NAC.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with IT and Non-It Staff Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Great people skills are a must! Skills and Experience Required:
Experienced in a PC/Local Area Network/Wide Area Network support environment.
Six to ten years of relevant IT work experience CCNP, or CCVP, or CCNP Wireless, or CCSP AND the Design Professional (CCDP) Certifications Knowledge of Linux/Unix and other open source software.
Ability to support network, server, storage virtualization, i.
e.
MDS switching infrastructure, VSAN, VRF, VPN, and VMWare, vSphere.
Extensive experience with VoIP.
Knowledge of voice technologies is also very useful.
VoIP Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science (or relevant field) preferred or related certifications and minimum 5 years of datacenter and/or system administration experience.
CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP preferred Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 70 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions.
Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
